Leakage detection with inert gas

In case hardly any or no sound can be detected, we use this method to detect leaks in water pipes. The gas detection device has sensitivity even under 10ppm.

Method:
1. Filling of the emptied damaged pipes after dropped pressure with inert gas, (5% Hydrogen in Nitrogen). The gas will be filled into the pipes and checked with a measure device if the system has been filled completely with the gas.

2. Detection of the leaking gas, with the measure device all rooms will be checked where the concentration of the gas is the highest. It can be assumed that the leaks should be in these places, whereas the gas can also leak through the flooring and detection can be made harder.
3. Narrowing down this problem can be checked with drilling little holes between the tiles to check if there are any pipes at all and how much flooring is there. With a few drilling holes along the pipelines the leak can be detected more precisely and just one tile needs to be lifted to fix the leak.
4. Fixing: we document the damage with digital photos, which we add to the invoice (on a cd) for your proof for the insurance company. Apart from this we subcontract other companies to fix your floorings or walls after we fixed the damage, which leaves you with only one invoice with a detailed description of the complete the works.
